I haven't even heard the speech yet.

Read what Chuck says about it here.

Off-topic here, but... what happened to HillCountryGal? Her blog has disappeared... her profile has disappeared... when this type of stuff happens, it can be scary..!

The question is: are you going to watch? This is a political move plain and simple. Twenty thousand troops will do little to nothing to help the situation in Iraq. Bush and company hope the Democrats will oppose this so that they can then blame the disaster in Iraq on them. It’s disgusting that such a shameful approach is embraced by Bush, a game played with our soldiers’ lives. Just a thought: What happened to the”coalition of the willing?” Can’t they produce some soldiers for the escalation?

If I summon the courage to watch Pretzelnit Fuckstick's speech tonight, I just may end up in the street drunkenly screaming all by myself.

We know the tune already, right?

More troops.
Support the troops already there.
Can't cut and run.
Nothing less than victory.

Tell me if I miss anything.

Say no more! Isn't it funny how we already know the script before the speech is delivered? Somebody proposed a drinking game...take a shot every time the liar tells a lie. I'd play, but I'm afraid I'd be in an alcohol-induced coma within the first 5 minutes. =)

Thanks for your comments at my site while I was gone! Back in the saddle...

Oh boy..how much longer do I have to shout at the TV screen????
And I am not even American...I bet you can hear me from Australia...
My voice is hoarse....perhaps I should go for the drinking game instead

I wish I could summon the fortitude to watch it, but I just can't deal with it. He makes me so frickin' mad.

I know he'll have that condescending grin that I just want to smack off his face.

Your precognition talents are amazing. Don't blunt them making predictions of the sun coming up tomorrow.

Just as well the story of Pinnochio is fiction otherwise George would have a beak a pelican would envy!

You don't have to hear the speech. The news story I read this afternoon, used the word "will". Check it out.

He'll have a difficult time selling it, but it really doesn't matter, since he's doing what he wants to do. He hasn't changed in 6 years, and a Democrat Congress or public opinion isn't going to get him to change.

Our only hope is to get him the Hell out of Washington.

I watched 9 minutes of it. I want eleven minutes of my life back.

That's the extent of the precognitive skills needed when it comes to Dubya's "announcements."
