Sappho: I've noticed that you've put a LibraryThing up on your site too, and I've seen a ton of books I'd love to read in your collection! I haven't heard of the "book by Davis & Chacon that you mention, but I'll look for it...it definately sounds like something I'd enjoy.
We should certainly compare notes and I'm so glad you suggested it! Thanks to a grad school essay I've been working on, I've been reading a lot on poverty lately. One good one is by Holly Sklar, called Raise the Floor: Wages and Policies that Work For All of Us.
My SO and I are getting ready to go on vacation for a couple of weeks to visit my elderly grandparents and I'm taking along Bait and Switch. Have you read it?
:) If we lived closer, we could start a collective!
I will try and do some postings while away...The grandparents have internet and I doubt I'll be able to stay away from the computer for too long. Also, I'll need to get my indep. media fix somehow.
