Unbelievable

This comes from The Hill:

Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-Mont.) recently played a gag on Rep. Mike Simpson
(R-Idaho) on their Middle East congressional delegation trip last month.

Rehberg left an “Idaho Travel Package” on Simpson’s airplane
seat.

Contents included a stuffed sheep with gloves attached to it (draw your
own conclusions), a Village People CD, books on cross-dressing and sign language
and a T-shirt that reads, “My senator may not be gay, but my governor is
Butch.”

Rehberg is proud of the gift bag. “I spent a bit of time putting the
things together,” he boasted.

Simpson was amused but not surprised that Rehberg was the bearer of
such presents. “You can always find those materials in Montana,” he said,
laughing.

Mr. Rehberg, you disgust me. You are an embarrassment to your elected office and to your constituients, and you disgrace the public trust with your blatent disregard for the dignity and worth of all Montana's citizens.

One day at a time. I was devastated when the Senate passed retroactive immunity. I was ready to leave the country. Today the Republicans fled the House of Representatives, the FISA bill will lapse, and hypocritical Larry Craig has been admonished.

I am feeling much better. Take heart my friend.

Your choice words for Congressman Rehberg contain so much more hate an intolerance than anything he did or said to invoke them. Sad that you can't judge your own words by the same standards as you judge others.

i seriously just almost threw up.

anonymous - you're kidding, right? there's not a lick of hate speech in what ms. liberty said, and i don't think intolerance is the word you're looking for.

Supergirlest I totally agree with you perspective on the words posted by "anonymous". I beleive that those who can not debate the points someone has made uses this trite arguement instead.
